Can you believe it? YOU'RE HAVING A BABY! (sorry to shout, I just got a little excited there). Seriously though, how amazing is that?! As a mom of five, I remember all the little kicks, midnight bathroom runs, and trying to tie my shoes (unsuccessfully, of course). I will make sure you are comfortable through every step of working with me.

Timing is everything

01 When do we get to meet? I'm SO ready. I recommend between 35 and 38 weeks for the ideal time to do maternity photos, so be sure to get on my calendar! Feel free to bring your significant other, or baby's brothers and sisters to the session. And if you'd like to bring some little baby booties for a prop or two, that would be a-d-o-r-a-b-l-e.

What to wear

02 I have a full session guide upon booking which helps you prep for our shoot, know the colors and patterns that photograph best, and I include helpful links of where to shop. I also have a collection of maternity gowns in my client closet you may choose from as a courtesy for booking with me. One thing's for sure. You're going to look GREAT.

I will gently direct you

03 "What if I don't know what to do in front of the camera?" - this is one of my most common questions, and one of my favorites to answer. I've got you! I pride myself in making my clients feel comfortable during our time together. I will gently guide you into flattering poses and natural moments so you don't ever have to wonder what to do.

I'm looking forward to working with you. Once you've decided you just can't live without "The Jeanna Hayes maternity experience," be sure to contact me and say hello! I will be over the moon to connect with you.

Before your session we will discuss options for a date, time, and location. I would love to hear about your "vision" for your shoot (if you don't have one just yet, no problem - that's what I'm here for!).

After we've decided on a date, time, and location, I will send over a questionnaire (which helps me get to know you more), a contract, and an invoice. Completion of the those will make everything official and secure your spot in my calendar!

At this point I will send over a detailed session guide which will help you get the very most out of your photos with me. Because I pride myself in image quality, consistency, and unique style, there are a few steps to take with outfit selection and preparations. The good news is that it's not complicated at all! I also have a client closet with couture maternity gowns available for your use if you wish.

The day we've all been waiting for! (You look great by the way.)

One of the best parts of working with me is the actual session. Your experience during our time together is very important to me. I want you to feel relaxed and at ease (Most of my first time clients tell me how surprised they are by how easygoing the session is!).
I will pose you in the most flattering angles, and guide you so you never have to wonder what to do next. Your comfort is of absolute importance to me.
I love meeting new friends and my greatest hope is to continue a lifelong relationship of capturing your family photos from the very first moments... which is now!

Two weeks after your session, I will send you a very special link. Get the tissues ready, and enjoy looking at your images. You're a goddess!

From this gallery you will select your digital image package, prints, and products, which I will guide you through.
